Description:

Tenzing is an Apple Original adventure drama based on the true story of Tenzing Norgay, the Nepalese-Indian Sherpa mountaineer who, alongside New Zealand climber Edmund Hillary, became the first person to summit Mount Everest in 1953. The film puts Tenzing’s courage, ambition, and often-overlooked place in history at the center of the expedition.

• A story beyond the summit: Tenzing’s quest is not simply about reaching Everest’s peak; it follows a man determined to fulfill a lifelong dream while confronting dangerous conditions, institutional prejudice, and the pressure of a historic expedition.

• A major cast: Genden Phuntsok plays Tenzing Norgay, with Tom Hiddleston as Edmund Hillary. The ensemble also includes Willem Dafoe, Caitríona Balfe, Thinley Lhamo, and Tenzin Dalha.
