Dragon Ball Super: Beerus is an enhanced remake of the opening era of Dragon Ball Super, and its “Super Surge” trailer teases an Earth-shaking return for the God of Destruction. As Beerus awakens and seeks the Saiyan who defeated Frieza, Goku and his allies are pulled into a cosmic battle that puts the entire planet at risk.
• The new edition rebuilds the original anime with re-rendered footage, extensive new cuts, revised scenes, newly recorded dubbing, and expanded music and sound effects for a more faithful and cinematic presentation.
• The series is expected to cover the Battle of Gods, Resurrection ‘F’, and Universe 6/Champa material—the first 46 episodes of the original Dragon Ball Super anime, minus filler.
• The Super Surge trailer features Goku’s Kamehameha, Beerus’ looming threat, Frieza’s return, and new enemies targeting Earth, while debuting the opening theme “ONOGAMI” by MEGATERA・ZERO and ending theme “Kan Peki No Peki” by VK Blanka.
• Dragon Ball Super: Beerus premieres in Japan on October 11, 2026, with an advance first-episode screening at New York Comic Con on October 8.
