Two new One Piece movies are on the way as part of the franchise’s 30th-anniversary celebration: One Piece Film: God Valley arrives in Japanese theaters in summer 2027, followed by One Piece Film: BAAD in 2029.

• God Valley is expected to bring the major God Valley flashback from the ongoing Elbaph storyline to the big screen—making it a notable shift from recent One Piece films, which were largely standalone adventures.

• The story is poised to explore one of the series’ most important mysteries: the legendary God Valley Incident and its connections to figures such as Gol D. Roger, Monkey D. Garp, Rocks D. Xebec, and the Celestial Dragons.

•nBAAD is still almost completely under wraps. Toei has confirmed its 2029 Japanese theatrical release, but has not revealed its plot, creative team, or international rollout; its teaser title treatment was drawn by Eiichiro Oda.
